M.M. "Pinky" Bass
The photographer Pinky Bass of Fairhope uses the format of gelatin silver prints to convey universal themes of life, death and transformation. She has left her past as a former missionary in Mexico to embrace her present as a feminist, spiritualist and artist. The installation Momento Mori: Positive/Negative contains black and white images together with fragments of Bass's prophetic dreams.
