Measuring Education Success Joining host Ken Lass will be Dr. Regina Thompson, principal of E. D. Nixon Elementary School in Montgomery and Dr. Tony Thacker, Education Administrator with the Alabama Department of Education. The program’s focus will be Alabama’s education successes, exploring what constitutes success in today’s school system and how schools are achieving that success. Among the topics discussed during the live portion of the program will be the role teachers and school administrators play, how a school’s success is measured, the importance of Advanced Placement (AP) courses and the inclusion of magnate schools on “top schools” lists. |
