The series, told from the perspective of five-year-old Betsy, is designed to ease a child’s transition from the home setting to a school environment by generating interest and excitement about the kindergarten experience in young viewers. Created by preschool teacher and author Betsy Quinn, and directed by Academy Award-winning animator Fred Crippen, “Betsy’s Kindergarten Adventures” is an animated cartoon series targeted to children ages 2-6. Each episode involves Betsy and her friends in adventure after adventure where they learn teamwork and valuable life lessons.
