(MARCH 17, 2014) CAPITOL JOURNAL previews week ten of the legislative session, including expected House action tomorrow on the 5.9-billion dollar education budget. It does not include a teacher pay raise and, without it, Governor Robert Bentley has threatened to veto the budget. Capitol Journal’s Randy Scott reports on the mood in the House ahead of the budget vote. And we’re joined by Representative Steve McMillan of Orange Beach, who sits on the House education budget committee. He talks about the school spending plan, as well as his Alabama Informed Voter Act.
