Tonight at 10:30 on Capitol Journal: We'll have a report on today's legislative budget hearings, where state Finance Director Bill Newton told lawmakers that spiraling Medicaid costs would be their biggest challenge this year. House Minority Leader Craig Ford of Gadsden will be us to discuss another Democratic push for Medicaid expansion in the new legislative session, as well as his plans to introduce a new state lottery bill. Ford will deliver the Democratic response to Governor Robert Bentley's State of the State address tomorrow night. And Capitol Journal's Randy Scott has some thoughts from the Governor about the new legislative session, ahead of his big speech.
