Video Overview
Within this lesson Mrs. Tew clarifies to her class what specific settings and moods her students will be capturing with their Flipcameras. She reviews “Where the Sidewalk Ends” once again, but this time identifying the two distinct settings and moods that are found within the poem. One section is described to be very happy and hopeful, while another section of the poem is quite sad and dark. Along with the two settings and moods identified within the poem, the students get to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson’s concepts as they complete their assignments to create and film their own setting and mood. >
