More than 22 million people visited Alabama in 2006 spending some 8 billion dollars. Alabama Bureau of Tourism and Travel director Lee Sentell talks about the tourism industry responsible for more than 160,000 jobs. Sentell will also talk about how Alabama is trying to lure more visitors to the state. As Alabama wants to increase the 628 million dollars tourism generated in state and local taxes.
