The drought conditions in Alabama are merely an inconvenience for most state residents…moving hoses here and there, washing the car more often…but for people who grow things for a living, the drought is a life or death event. We’ll talk with Alabama Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks and the immediate past president of the Alabama Nursery and Landscape Association about how the drought is hurting farmers and the “green industry”.
