Alabama State Senator Wendell Mitchell wants to pass a series of bills to reform the state’s campaign practices. The bills address issues such as false statements, Pac to Pac transfers, campaign contribution limits, and penalties for violations. Mitchell, a Democrat from Luverne, believes the measures will stop the negative campaigning and false advertising during Alabama elections. Mitchell will discuss those bills and more on “For the Record.”
