Chief Justice Drayton Nabers is seeking a full term as head of the state’s highest court. The Republican was appointed to the post after serving as State Finance Director for Gov. Bob riley. Judge Sue Bell Cobb sits on the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals. The Democrat was a District Judge before going to the appeals court.
