The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) predicts a very active hurricane season. The prediction calls for 13 to 16 named storms with eight to 10 becoming hurricanes. Projections say four to six could become major hurricanes Category 3 or higher. Warning Coordination Meteorologist, Jason Wright will discuss how people can be prepared for the active season.
