The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is responsible for the management of 22 state parks, 23 public fishing lakes, 34 wildlife areas and oversight of other natural resources. M. Barnett Lawley serves as the Commissioner of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and he will discuss ongoing renovations and improvement to state parks and other programs his agency is responsible for operating.
