Cementing Alabama Public Television’s role as premiere storyteller, “Alabama Stories” brings viewers fascinating stories about Alabama events, people and places.
The video magazine focuses on one story each episode, hosted by one of five hosts: Rhonda Calvin, Tim Lennox, Chris Newbold, Lakia Richardson and Randy Scott.
Airing on the second, third and fourth Friday of each month at 7:00 p.m., “Alabama Stories” covers topics ranging from the agriculturally devastating drought Alabama has experienced during the 21st century to the anniversary of Explorer I and Alabama’s role in American space exploration, from Birmingham’s alarming crime trend to the historic Rosenwald Schools of south Alabama.
