Every child who enters the Contest receives a special Certificate of Achievement signed by LeVar Burton, host of the READING RAINBOW series.
First place winners in the Kindergarten, First Grade, Second
Grade, and Third Grade will each receive a $100 gift
certificate to Books-A-Million, plus an APT Ready to Learn Gift Bag!
Second place winners in the Kindergarten, First Grade, Second
Grade, and Third Grade will each receive a $50 gift certificate to Books-A-Million, plus an APT Ready to Learn Gift Bag!
Third place winners in the Kindergarten, First Grade, Second
Grade, and Third Grade will each receive a $25 gift certificate to Books-A-Million, plus an APT Ready to Learn Gift Bag!
Flat Panel TVs with DVDs (Grand Prize), Digital Cameras (Second Place), MP3
Players (Third Place). Each national winner will also receive 3 sets of DVDs
with books- a set for their home, school, and community library. The 12
national winning stories will also be featured on the Reading rainbow PBS
website.
