What is 5 Star?
5-Star is a collaboration between five southern public television stations-Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, and Louisiana. With so many combining resources, viewer can be assured high quality and innovative programs.

Where can I find the recipes prepared on the show?
The dishes that Alabama chef Gus Ravenos prepared can be found in our recipe section. For a complete list, as well as 500 additional southern recipes, please consider placing an order for our cookbook.

Is the cookbook available in stores?
No, the only way to receive the Holiday Tastes of the South cookbook is to become a member to Alabama Public Television at the $50 level or more.

I am already a member of APT, do I get a discount?
Due to the limited quantity we have of these popular items we are afraid that we can not offer any discounts to our current members.

I contributed a recipe to the cookbook, how do I know if it was included?
APT received hundreds of recipes from our supportive viewers, and many did make it into the final printing. If you are curious to know if you had a recipe selected, please click here to E-mail our coordinator. Make sure you include the name of your recipe!

How long will it take to receive my cookbook after making my pledge online?
You should receive your cookbook within 7 to 10 days of making your online pledge.
