State Representative John Knight chairs the House Government Appropriations Committee. Knight, a Democrat from Montgomery, discusses the state of the General Fund. The General Funds provides money for state troopers, prisons, and Medicaid. Alabama journalists Dana Beyerle from the “New York times Regional Newspapers” and Julius White with WVAS-FM will question Knight. They will also review some of the stories from the past week.
