Pomfret wrote a book on his experience in graduate school in China in the book “Chinese Lessons: Five Classmates And The Story Of The New China.” Pomfret would become the Pomfret Beijing Bureau Chief for the “Washington Post.” Pomfret gives his thoughts on U.S. China relations.
