2007 Year in Review A Senator punches a fellow lawmakers and Alabama a company decides to build a huge plant in Alabama. Those are a couple of the stories gathering headlines in Alabama. State Senator Charles Bishop hits State Senator Lowell. The punch closes a contentious session in the Senate. German steel maker ThyssenKrupp announces a 3500 acre $3.7 billion carbon and stainless steel plant will be built in Calvert north of Mobile. The stories will be discussed as part of “For The Record’s” look back at 2007.

why do you oppose tax incentives for the motion picture industry???
i live in alabama and work in TN.
TN recently p***ed an incentive bill for the industry and it (the bill) has returned many dollars back to the general fund..
