Author Philip Beidler on Vietnam and Iraq We'll talk with Philip Beidler, the University of Alabama English Professor who's new book is "American Wars American Peace, Notes from a Son of the Empire". Beidler is a Vietnam combat veteran, and his book explores the connections between that war and the ongoing war in Iraq. On the panel: All Benn, columnist for the Montgomery Advertiser, and Dana Beyerle, The NY Times Regional Newspapers.
