Lee Sentell, Director of the Alabama Department of Tourism will be on hand to discuss a new program aimed at bringing tourists to the Black Belt. It involves luring outdoors people to the area for hunting. Since Gov. Bob Riley appointed Sentell as tourism director in 2003, the Alabama tourism industry has increased by 45 percent to $9.3 billion in expenditures a year.
