WWII veterans are dying at a phenomenally rapid pace. A national organization called "Honor Flight" takes veterans to see the WWII memorial on the National Mall in DC, before it's too late. "Flying Over Alabama: The Whooping Crane Story" will re-air on Sunday, May 17th at 8:00 PM  and on Tuesday, May 26th at 8:00 PM. The documentary follows the journey of Operation Migration as they assist 14 young cranes in their migration from Wisconsin to Florida. This year, for the first time ever, their route takes them through the skies and on the ground for stopovers in Alabama.
