Reading Rainbow Contest Winners Announced
Alabama Public Television (APT) honors twelve Alabama schoolchildren during the 13th annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest awards ceremony in Montgomery.
Among the winners are six Birmingham-area children: Lauren Choi (first place, Kindergarten category), Pate Simmons (first place, third grade), Skylar Jones (second place, second grade), Stella Davis (second place, third grade), Nicholas Swinney (third place, first grade) and Will Dailey, (third place, third grade).
