Alabama Goes Green

In 2007 Alabama was rated the 3rd worst green state in the nation by Forbes magazine.  This designation was attributed in part to excessive driving, massive landfills, and weak regulations.  The government and citizens of Alabama are addressing these issues in a myriad of ways as detailed in interviews with subject experts, government and business leaders, advocacy organizations and citizens statewide.
