FLYING OVER ALABAMA: THE WHOOPING CRANE STORY
In 2008, Alabama Public Television captured the migratory flight of a group of young whooping cranes as they were led by an ultralight plan high above Alabama. After flying over and landing at several stop overs in Alabama, they finally reached their winter home in Florida. Even though APT is not capturing their 2010 journey, you can still experience the excitement and learn from the videos found at at this link:
