Welcome to the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Guide for Teachers.

If you are looking for new ways to get your students excited and engaged in history, geography, the arts and society, and a range of other topics, you've come to the right place. This area of the Web site helps you integrate the study of material cultureIn a given community or society, the material objects that people make, collect, and use, which give insight into the beliefs and customs held by that community. (artifacts and objects) into your teaching, using objects appraised on ANTIQUES ROADSHOW. Through questions, activities, and other resources, students take a closer look at the "things" people have used throughout history to create history — their own, their communities', and the world's — and gain new insights and a sense of wonder about the people and events of the past, the present, and perhaps the future.
