Video Overview
Using site maps, Anna McCowen, a UAB undergraduate student, reports on the excavation of a cave at Wai Turu Turu. With video of Dr. Sharyn Jones and the students at work as the backdrop, Dr. Jones explains the Fijian oral history story of the attack on the site from outsiders from another island. Anna discusses the artifacts discovered during the excavation including the discovery of human remains. The video captures the moment of discovery. >
