Watching Everyone’s Settings and Moods

Video Overview
The students’ all arrive at their big premiere, where everyone gets the chance to review the films to see different interpretations of the two settings and moods found in “Where the Sidewalk Ends” in addition to the fun setting and mood imagined by each group. Through this assignment the students learn that setting and mood are as relevant to a story or poem as the plot. The creation of the videos helps the students to understand the presence of setting and mood in everyday life. The importance of setting and mood is taught to the class as being as relevant to a story or poem as the plot.
